Who Is Sunday Cote?

The Official Story
I have been teaching and studying metaphysics and mysticism for over 20 years.  And I love sharing the deeper spiritual concepts behind the Law of Attraction, inspiration about LOA and other ideas and philosophies that deepen us on our spiritual journey.

Professionally, I received my ministerial degree from Holmes Institute for Consciousness Studies in 1993 and am an ordained New Thought minister with the United Centers for Spiritual Living.  Before embarking on my own private coaching practice, I held positions as both Senior Minister of a Spiritual Center in Washington, DC as well as Spiritual Director for Youth and Family Ministries in Scottsdale, Arizona.

In 2005, I fell in love with the emerging field of Energy Psychology and in 2006 became a certified energy practitioner.  It was thrilling to discovered that when I combined the latest discoveries in energy therapies, such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) with the teachings of ancient spiritual principles, including the Law of Attraction, powerful healings and manifestations occurred.   To add to my unique style of coaching, speaking and teaching, I often draw inspiration from my work with the Enneagram and Positive Psychology.

Because the thriving business I lead was a church, I never had to park my spirituality at the door.  In fact, I was expected to run our center using the same spiritual principles I taught to create joy, health, meaning and money in my members’ personal lives.  Looking at business from a spiritual perspective is ingrained in me and comes quite naturally.   I wouldn’t even know how to separate the two.

In my private life, I am passionate about the path of homeschooling, Whole-Life Learning and the journey of respectful parenting that my family and I have been on since the birth of my first son in 1998.   I live in Chandler, Arizona with my husband Robert, two Unschooled boys and a gaggle of animals.

The Unofficial Story
My personal business coach laughed when I told her I thought I was a pretty “normal” person.  For starters, she pointed out, my name was Sunday and I was a woman minister in a male dominated profession.  Not to mention that I’ve been teaching Law of Attraction long before it was cool to do so as well as the alternative healing methods to heal all sorts of blocks and ailments.

And don’t even get started on my parenting and education philosophies which are anything but run-of-the-mill.  Not only did I decide to homeschool my children, but I chose the most non-traditional form of homeschooling around.  I’m a holistic mom who practiced attachment parenting, extended nursing, and gentle parenting.
I believe deeply in the body’s natural ability to heal itself and I rely on alternative medicine and energy therapies for maintaining the heath of my family,   My kids first works included “echinacia,”  “homeopathic,” and “chiropractor.”

I guess it’s true that I’ve always been attracted to the leading edge of thought and made anything but run-of-the-mill choice in my life.  But hey, maybe that’s just the Aquarian visionary in me.  Whatever it is, living on the leading edge in both my personal and professional lives has always worked out well for me and also benefitted my clients.

My clients tell me that one of the most powerful aspects about working with me is my deep and constant awareness that all is well regardless of appearances.   In fact that’s part of my life’s vision and purpose.

Here’s are the statements that guide my life and my work:

My Destiny:
To contribute to the consciousness of Love, Joy and Abundance in the world.

My Personal Cause:
To illuminate and celebrate the Divine Perfection and Wholeness of those who come into the range of my consciousness.

My Professional Cause:
Guiding spiritually-minded service professionals into vibrational alignment with their purpose, passion and profitability.

My Calling:
To inspire the awareness of Oneness through my writing, speaking, teaching and coaching.
