Imagine you are at a party, and you meet someone new who just gets you. You laugh at the same jokes. You have a similar history, and you feel like you’ve known this person your entire life.
Now imagine you go to a party, and you meet someone new who rubs you the wrong way. She laughs too loud or she’s rude. She is just not someone who you would ever spend time with, and you can’t wait to get away.
In each of these situations, you’re experiencing the vibration of another person. When that vibration is in sync with your vibration, then it feels good and you feel welcome. But when a person’s vibration is not in alignment with yours, then it does not feel good.
We spend our lives seeking out people who are vibrational matches because they cause us to feel good, and avoiding people who are not vibrational matches because they cause us to feel bad.
So how does this impact your marketing?
Most business owners spend a great deal of time thinking about how to convince you that they can solve your problems, and little time considering how they feel about what they are creating. The truth is, how you feel when you are creating your marketing message is far more important than what you say, because your next prospective client can feel it.
Pause for a moment and consider how you feel about what you just read. Whatever you’re thinking was fueled by how it made you feel. Does it make sense? Do you feel like it’s useful? Do you want to know more? Is it intriguing? Does it make you feel good? If so, then you’re a vibrational match to the energy I felt when I was creating it.
Now, if it doesn’t make sense, and it doesn’t feel useful to you, then you’re not a vibrational match for my business.
Either way, it’s okay. You see, we spend so much time thinking of ways to please as many people as possible that we fail to capture the attention of the people that really get us. These are the people that have the potential to be our next great client.
It doesn’t matter if you are demographically my ideal client. If you don’t feel an alignment with my message, then it is useless for me to try to form a relationship with you. It’s never going to work.
Now, the question is, how do you feel about your marketing? How do you feel when you create it? How do you feel when you finalize a message that you’re going to release into the world?
Do you love it? Is it amazing? Is it a reflection of you, what you love about your business, your dreams?
Because how you feel creates a vibrational match every single time.
